Sacrament of Baptism

Baptism is a symbol of God’s love toward us.
Baptism is a one-time sacrament; persons who join WUMC and who have been baptized in another church or denomination are not baptized a second time. While baptism is most commonly done for infants, there is no age restriction. The Sacrament of Baptism is administered during worship.
Baptisms may be scheduled for the children of members and non-members of Westminster United Methodist Church.
Please click here to complete the Baptism Request and Profile form and return it to our office (fillable .pdf must be saved/downloaded to your device and printed/mailed or emailed as an attachment to [email protected]).
Our pastor will contact you to schedule your child's baptism as well as preparatory classes. Keep in mind, we partake in the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of every month; due to the time involved in Communion, baptisms on the first Sunday of the month are discouraged.
